Membership

By joining the Isbell PTA, you help us meet our school's needs that are outside the scope of the budget provided by FISD. When you go a step further and volunteer to help with events—or join a committee— you set a fine example for our students to follow and greatly encourage our teachers and staff.

Membership Fee

Your membership fee of $10 supports everything the PTA does for your students, access to PTA-sponsored scholarships, and PTA membership is required to submit entries into the Reflections event.  Parents, grandparents, students, teachers, staff, admin, and community members are all welcome.

do I have to attend meetings?

NO!  Meetings are a great way to stay in the loop with school happenings and we would love to have you, but your attendance is never mandatory.  Your membership alone makes a difference for Isbell!

Am I required to volunteer?

NOPE!  Joining the PTA is not the same as volunteering.  We love for parents to get involved as their schedule allows, but do not require members to spend extra time in the school.  Your student may pressure you more than PTA!  They beam with pride when Mom or Dad is helping in the classroom or at special events.  Wanting to get more involved?  Check out our volunteer opportunities.
