WHY JOIN PTA?

Your PTA membership is really about having a voice, being connected, and being part of the community. As a member, you have a vote in PTA decisions… things like electing officers, approving budgets, and helping shape the direction of what we do for our school.

Membership itself is a way to participate in and support your school. Not everyone has the margin to volunteer their time… and that’s okay! By becoming a member, you’re still raising your hand and saying, “I’m part of this… I support our school, our teachers, and what PTA Board is working to make possible for our kids!”

Membership also connects you to Texas PTA and National PTA, giving you access to member perks and discounts while adding your voice to a much larger organization advocating for kids, teachers, families, and public education!!

Plus, one of the most practical benefits is access to our school directory… The more families who join and choose to share their information, the more valuable that directory becomes! Parents can connect with other families in their child’s class for playdates, birthday invitations, carpools, or simply helping our kids build friendships outside of school!

So really, the $20 isn't about what you “get” from PTA. It's about what your membership represents:

I have a voice.

I support my school.
And I want to be part of making our school community stronger.
